Naloxone Training - ACT 139 Training for First Responders

Welcome to the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs’ Training and Education for the Administration of Naloxone Produced in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association and the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. 

This program will provide you with current information on the opioid epidemic which Pennsylvania is experiencing, inform you about Pennsylvania’s efforts to address the issue and Pennsylvania Act 139, as well as provide police with key information regarding opioid overdose rescue through the administration of Naloxone.

CERTIFICATE NOTE:

At the end of this program you will be asked to complete a short quiz. Upon passing this quiz you will be able to print a certificate with your name. You must print this certificate and keep it in your records as documentation of your completion. If you do not print the certificate, you will need to return this page and complete the course again.
